On July 8, 2020 at 10:43 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to the area of Aldi Foods on Route 8 for a two vehicle accident. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle was traveling south on Route 8, and attempted to turn left into a parking lot. The vehicle turned in front of an oncoming vehicle which was traveling north on Route 8 in the curb lane. The vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
