On August 1, 2020 at 5:25 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Mount Royal Boulevard for an overturned vehicle with possible entrapment. Upon their arrival, officers observed a vehicle laying on its side, and were able to assist the driver out of the vehicle. The driver stated that they were driving too fast and lost control of the vehicle around a bend in the roadway, causing damage to a private property and overturned. The driver showed visible signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
