On August 9, 2020 at 2:37 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Middle Road, at Cedar Ridge Road, for a vehicle that crashed into a tree. While en route, officers were updated that the driver was entrapped in the vehicle. Upon their arrival, officers located the vehicle approximately 15 feet into a wooded area. The vehicle sustained severe front end damage and the driver sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Hampton Township Fire Department responded to the scene to assist medics in accessing the patient and removing them from the site. Witnesses stated that the operator was traveling on Cedar Ridge Road, failed to stop at a stop sign at Middle Road, and proceeded through the intersection and into the wooded area. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
