On August 28, 2020 at 2:07 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of West Hardies Road, at North Pioneer Road, for a two vehicle accident. Both vehicles sustained heavy, disabling damage as a result of the collision. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle operator was waiting at the stop sign on North Pioneer Road to turn onto West Hardies Road. The operator was waved out by another vehicle operator, but failed to see an oncoming car and entered the intersection, which resulted in the collision. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
