On December 12, 2014 at 5:55 PM Hampton Twp Police responded to the area of Isabella Ave at Mt Royal Blvd for a report of a stop sign that was damaged. Upon arrival, the officer found the stop sign knocked over and he was able to prop it up slightly to inform motorists to stop. Investigation found that unknown person(s) drove their vehicle over the stop sign and damaged the gas tank of their vehicle. The Officer was able to follow the trail of gas onto Sherwood Avenue but was unable to follow it any further. The Hampton Twp Road Crew will replace the sign.
