On December 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM Hampton Twp Police took a hit and run accident report in the parking lot of the Hampton High School. The caller reported that a vehicle parked in the High School parking lot for a basketball game was struck and the other vehicle left the scene. Through an investigation the other vehicle owner was identified and the case was settled because there was no damage to either vehicle. Residents are reminded that when involved in an accident they should contact the police for a report and provide the owner of the vehicle all of their information, even if there is no damage to either vehicle.
