On October 22, 2020 at 3:53 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Route 8 for a two vehicle accident with injuries reported. Upon arrival, the officer located both vehicles in the northbound passing lane. Two occupants complained of injury. The accident occurred when one vehicle was stopped in traffic. The other vehicle operator failed to stop their vehicle before colliding with the rear of the stopped car. One occupant was taken to the hospital and the vehicles needed to be towed from the scene.
