On November 21, 2020 at 1:05 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to Route 8, at Wildwood Road, for a three vehicle accident. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle was northbound on Route 8, in the left turning lane, and proceeded to make their turn when the traffic signal turned green. They stated that another vehicle, which was traveling south on Route 8, traveled through a steady red signal and collided with their vehicle. The impact caused one vehicle to strike a third vehicle. None of the involved vehicles were able to be driven from the scene and all were towed due to the damage that they sustained.
