On December 16, 2020 at 8:24 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to West Hardies Road for a single vehicle accident. Upon their arrival, officers located one vehicle laying on its side, blocking one lane of travel. The operator was found to be out of the vehicle and no injuries were reported as a result of the crash. The vehicle had multiple airbags deployed and had to be towed from the scene. The accident occurred due to icy road conditions as the vehicle attempted to navigate a bend in the roadway.
