On February 1, 2021 at 8:53 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Linwood Drive for a vehicle that was reported to have driven over a hillside. Upon their arrival, police observed that the vehicle occupant had already extricated himself from the vehicle. The operator stated that the vehicle slid on icy road conditions and continued off of the road and over the hillside, striking a mailbox in the process. The vehicle had to be removed from the hillside by a tow truck.
