On March 3, 2021 at 2:55 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Hemlock Drive, near Big Rock Road, for a two vehicle head-on collision. Both involved vehicles were still in the roadway upon the arrival of first responders. Both vehicles had sustained heavy damage as a result of the collision. One operator was found to be entrapped within their vehicle. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle failed to negotiate a bend in he roadway, entered the oncoming lane and struck the front of the other vehicle head-on. The operator of one vehicle had to be extricated and was transported to the hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
