On 3/13/2021 at 1:24 a.m., a Hampton Township officer was on patrol on Route 8 when they observed a vehicle strike a curb. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle, and upon speaking with the driver, the officer observed multiple signs of impairment. The operator was asked to submit to field sobriety tests, which they were unable to complete. The operator was found to have open alcoholic containers within the vehicle and was found to be in possession of an illegal substance.
