On May 7, 2021 at 8:24 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Middle Road for a vehicle that was reported to be driven erratically. The reporting party stated that the vehicle was driving very slowly and was swerving into oncoming lanes. The vehicle was located by a responding officer, who observed the vehicle to be stopped in the middle of the roadway. The officer observed the driver to be asleep at the wheel. The officer was able to wake up the driver, who showed visible signs of impairment. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
