On June 2, 2021 Hampton Township Police were dispatched to William Flinn Highway near Sheetz for a report of a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers were met by both parties and advised that there were no injuries. The accident occurred when one vehicle did not see the other vehicle and pulled out of Sheetz in their lane of travel. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
