On July 17, 2021 at 10:59p.m., a Hampton Township Police Officer observed a vehicle drive into a front yard on Mount Royal Boulevard. A traffic stop on the vehicle was initiated. Upon approaching the operator, the officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage as well as the operator having slurred speech and glassy eyes. The driver was asked to submit to standardized field sobriety tests, which they failed to complete as was demonstrated and instructed. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for the suspicion of DUI.
