On September 6, 2021 at 6:03p.m., Hampton Township Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of West Hardies Road and William Flinn Highway for a report of a hit and run. The victim stated they were waiting at the red light on West Hardies Road and were struck from behind. The second vehicle fled the scene of the accident.
