On September 11, 2021 at 9:10p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of William Flinn Highway and Wildwood Road Extension for a report of an intoxicated driver. An officer located the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and saw both tires cross over the double yellow line. A traffic stop was initiated near Zang's Auto Body. Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer could immediately detect on odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. Officers requested the driver submit to Standard Field Sobriety Tests. Based on the totality of the circumstances, the driver was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
