On April 4, 2022 at 2:54p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Coventry Drive for a report of a vehicle that struck several mailboxes. Upon arrival, officers confirmed there were no injuries. The driver stated that as they exited the vehicle, they realized the vehicle was not in park and it started to roll down the hill. The driver attempted to catch up to the vehicle but were unable to do so. While the vehicle was rolling downhill unoccupied, it struck and damaged two mailboxes as well as a Duquesne Light Box. Duquesne Light was notified and arrived on scene. The vehicle was able to me removed from the yard and driven from the scene.
