On 05/23/2022 at 2:42 p.m., Hampton units were dispatched to Home Depot for a report that there was a shoplifting incident in progress. Responding officers were advised by dispatch that the suspect had now fled in a white Toyota Tundra and traveled southbound on William Flinn Highway. A responding officer located and intercepted the associated vehicle near the intersection of Wildwood Road and William Flinn Highway. A traffic stop was conducted of the suspect vehicle and the actor in question was identified and advised that he would be facing criminal charges regarding the retail theft.
