July Council Meeting Actions

Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, July 27th; actions from the meeting included, but not limited to:

  • Enacted Ordinance No. 850 authorizing the issuance of General Obligation Bonds Series 2022 in the amount not to exceed $47.5 million to finance sanitary sewer projects of the Township, including the Allison Park Water Pollution Control Plant Upgrade Project, and to pay the cost of issuance of the bonds.
  • Authorization to advertise for a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, September 26, 2022, 6:30 p.m., at the Hampton Community Center to present the approved Allison Park Water Pollution Control (Sewer) Plant Upgrade and funding plans.
  • Approved the request from R.A. Glancy & Sons (School District contractor) to work on Sundays at the Hampton High School through August 21, 2022, to have the ability, if necessary, to make up days due to inclement weather and any other unforeseen site conditions in order to keep on schedule for the start of school.
  • Adopted Resolution No. 1067 related to the Aquinas Academy sewer planning module application.
  • Authorized to advertise for a public hearing for the Hartwood Acres Maintenance Building Conditional Use (21-12) for Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
  • Discussed upcoming events, including the Farmer's Market that is held every Wednesday from 3 to 7 pm in the Community Center Parking Lot.
