On 07/14/2022 at 11:43 a.m., Hampton Township Police took a report from a resident in regards to a possible fraud related phone call that they received from someone claiming to be with US Customs and Border Patrol. The resident reported that they received a phone call from a female who called herself "Yolanda Choaces". "Yolanda" advised that she worked for the US Customs and Border Patrol, and that a package destined for the resident's home had been intercepted. "Yolanda" stated that the package contained illegal narcotics and fake ID's. The resident was aware that this was a scam phone call and did not provide any sensitive information. They wanted to make local law enforcement aware of this scam.
