On 11/06/2022 at 10:07p.m., Hampton units were dispatched to Route 8 for an accident involving a vehicle vs. motorcycle. Upon arrival, it was discovered that one tow truck was needed for the involved motorcycle due to sustained damages. Medics were also on scene to evaluate the operator of the motorcycle. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle was in the right curb lane traveling north on William Flinn Highway. That operator stated that they didn't see anyone in the left lane, so they attempted to switch over to the left lane, however, their vehicle struck the motorcycle while doing so.
