On 12/07/2022 at 11:03 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of McNeal Rd. for a single vehicle accident with no injuries. County dispatch advised the vehicle had struck a telephone pole. Upon arrival, officers observed the involved vehicle in the middle of the road blocking both lanes of travel. Officers spoke with the driver, who stated that they were driving eastbound on McNeal Rd. when they lost control of their vehicle after taking a slight curve in the road too fast. This action caused the passenger side of the vehicle to hit the telephone pole, causing disabling damage and airbag deployment throughout the car. Duquesne Light was notified about the damage to the pole. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
