On 12/10/2022 at 11:35 a.m., a Hampton Township officer was on scene of a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of East Bardonner Road at William Flinn Highway. The officers on scene observed three vehicles to be involved in the collision. The operator of the first involved vehicle advised that he was traveling west on East Bardonner Road. He stated that the second vehicle was stopped in the west bound travel lane of East Bardonner Road at the intersection with William Flinn Highway. He stated that the third vehicle was stopped in front of the other involved car. The driver struck the second vehicle from the rear, causing it to strike the rear of the third unit. While speaking with the operator of the first vehicle, the officer observed multiple signs of impairment. The operator was also found to be in possession of an open alcoholic beverage within the vehicle and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. One operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
