On 02/22/2023, Officers were dispatched to for a report of a car driving through a shed and over a hillside. It was reported the driver was out of the vehicle.
Upon arrival, Shaler Hampton EMS was already speaking with the driver. The driver was ultimately transported to UPMC Passavant Hospital to be checked.
In speaking with the driver, she stated she pulled in the driveway behind her husband. She stated she started down the driveway and was not able to stop because the brakes were not working. The vehicle traveled straight through the shed. The vehicle came to a stop when it struck a small tree. The vehicle sustained heavy damage to the front end as well as damage to both driver and passenger sides of the vehicle.
Leo's Towing arrived and requested Ferra's Towing for assistance due to the location of the vehicle and a need for a larger truck. Ferra's Towing got the vehicle out of the woods and Leo's Towing took the vehicle back to their shop.
