On 03/09/2023, Officers were dispatched to the intersection of William Flinn Highway and Talley Cavey Road for a two-vehicle crash. Allegheny County Dispatch advised Officers that there were no reported injuries, the vehicles were still on the roadway and the air bags of at least one of the vehicles were deployed. Upon arrival, officers found a Mitsubishi Outlander facing northbound just south of Talley Cavey Road in the center lane of William Flinn Highway. The other vehicle, a Chevy Silverado was in the parking lot of Alpine Pools. The accident was said to have occurred when one vehicle was traveling northbound behind a second vehicle when it stopped suddenly, resulting in a rear-end style accident. One vehicle was towed as a result of damage.
