On 10/10/2023, Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the intersection of Mount Royal Boulevard and Sample Road for a report of a two vehicle accident with no injuries and vehicles off the roadway. One operator stated that they were attempting to make a left hand turn from Sample Road onto Mount Royal Boulevard. The driver stated that they were not familiar with the area and assumed there was a stop sign that controlled every direction of the intersection. The vehicle pulled out in front of Unit #2, subsequently causing the collision. One vehicle sustained light damage and the second was able to be driven away from the scene.
