On 11/22/2023, Hampton Township Police were dispatched to McNeal Road for a report of a single vehicle colliding into a pole. Upon arrival, the vehicle was off the roadway in a yard with severe disabling damage to the driver's side rear door/quarter panel area. A Duquesne Light Pole was sheared because of the crash and was hanging over the roadway. Both the driver and passenger denied any injuries. The accident was said to have happened when the driver was traveling down a hill on McNeal Road towards William Flinn Highway and attempted to negotiate a left turn. He then lost control due to the wet road conditions, causing the vehicle to slide off the roadway and into the pole. Leo’s Towing towed the vehicle. Duquesne Light arrived on scene to repair the pole. There was property damage done to the yard of 3041 McNeal.
