On 01/11/2024, 911 dispatched Hampton PD to the Southern area of William Flinn Hwy. for an erratic driver that was entering Hampton Township.
The vehicle was observed at the intersection of McCully Rd. and William Flinn Hwy. The vehicle was weaving within its lane, as well as failing to maintain its lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle at Citizens Bank and the operator of the vehicle drove across the median to get into Citizens Bank.
After standard field sobriety tests were performed the driver was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence.
