On February 12, 2024, Hampton Township Police were contacted for a hit and run report. The person reported that his vehicle had been struck overnight at his residence at Devlin’s Point. When he left for work on this date around 0600 hours, he noticed minor damage.
On February 13, 2024, Hampton PD was advised that the driver of the vehicle that hit and ran the vehicle contacted Devlin's Point management office to provide her information. The driver was contacted by an Officer via phone. It was reported that she was dropping a friend off in the parking lot of Thoroughbred Court on 2/12/2024 between 0130-0200 hours, when she backed into the vehicle, causing damage to the front bumper/headlight area. She told the Officer that she did not contact the police because the owner of the vehicle was not on scene and her friend did not know who the vehicle belonged to. The Officer advised that she is required to exchange pertinent information with the other party involved in a collision in the Commonwealth of PA.
