On March 1, 2024, Hampton Twp. Police units responded to the area of Harts Run Rd. and Woodland Rd. for a report of a vehicle accident involving one vehicle that rolled over and was upside down in the creek. Upon arrival, Officers found that there was an occupant trapped inside of the vehicle who they assisted in getting out through the rear driver side door. The driver was transported to the hospital for further evaluation due to the severity of the accident.
Officers surveyed the scene and found a patch of ice on the roadway caused by water runoff.
