The Township of Hampton is accepting applications to prepare an eligibility list for the position of a full time police officer with the Hampton Township Police Department. Application packets are available at the Hampton Township Police Department located at 3101 McCully Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101 between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm; the application packet may also be downloaded at www.hampton-pa.org/policeapplication2024
Completed applications must be hand delivered to the Hampton Township Police Department. Applications must be returned no later than 3:00 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024. The 2024 annual starting salary for this position is $50,671.26 which includes an excellent benefits package.
Physical agility testing is scheduled for 9:00 am on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Applicants who successfully complete the physical agility test will then take a written examination directly following the agility test. The physical agility and written testing will be given at the Allegheny County Police Academy, 700 W. Ridge Rd., Allison Park, PA 15101.
