On 12/5/2024, HPD was dispatched to Mount Royal Boulevard for a report of a burglary in progress. The property owner stated he was watching three unknown males on video climbing on ladders and attempting to gain access through the windows. Hampton PD, Shaler PD and a Sheriff Deputy arrived on scene and located the three males near their vehicle. Officers explained to the males on scene that the property owner called 911 and reported a burglary in progress. The males stated they are with a window cleaning service and realized they were at the wrong address just prior to our arrival. All males were identified and released from the scene.
