On 12/12/24, HPD was dispatched to Fernwood Lane for a report of a structure fire. Dispatch advised that there was an active fire in the chimney within the residence and that 6 occupants were currently evacuating. Upon arrival, all residents were located outside of the home and advised that the fire had since been extinguished. Officers assisted Hampton Fire units on scene until a time when they were no longer needed.
