On 5/11/25, at approximately 2154 hours, while traveling on Route 8 near Duncan Avenue an Officer observed a male cross all four lanes of Route 8 wearing dark clothing. The Officer, as well as other vehicles on the roadway, had to slow down in order not to strike the male.
The Officer made contact with the male who was visibly intoxicated. After explaining to him that he was a danger to himself being intoxicated trying to walk home, he was given a curtesy ride home and cited with public drunkenness.
