On June 8, 2025, a Hampton Officer, traveling North on William Flinn Highway observed a vehicle being driven in a manner consistent with physical impairment. The vehicle was stopped just North of Mount Royal Boulevard. Upon approaching the vehicle and speaking to the driver/sole occupant/vehicle owner the Officer observed the driver to have bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. She had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath and the odor of Marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle. Field sobriety testing was conducted, and the driver was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
