On 10/6/25, Hampton Police Officers responded to Meadow Crest Dr. for a report of shots fired. While on scene, Officers heard a gun shot and were able to locate two males with orange vests on holding what appeared to be shot guns in their hands. The men said they were hunting squirrels. The Officers confirmed that it was indeed small game season, and that the hunters were well outside the required safety distance. There were no hunting violations observed, and Officers cleared the scene.
