On 11/1/25, a Hampton Police Officer observed a bicyclist wearing dark clothing with no lights or flashers equipped to the bicycle riding in the middle of the southbound lanes of William Flinn Hwy. almost causing a collision. The Officer stopped the cyclist and while speaking with them, the odor of alcohol was emanating from their person, and they admitted to consuming numerous alcoholic drinks throughout the evening. Charges for Public Drunkenness were filed.
