On March 10, 2015 at 4:20 PM Hampton Twp Police responded to Rt 8 at Clearview Rd. for a hit and run report. Upon arrival, I spoke with the complainant who stated that he was southbound on Rt. 8, in the curb lane when he saw a vehicle stopped, attempting to turn left onto Clearview Rd. He said there was a tan S.U.V. behind the turning vehicle. The S.U.V., unknown registration, turned into the southbound curb lane, striking his truck. He stated there was no damage to his truck, however, the S.U.V. sustained a broken mirror.
