On April 28, 2015 at 4:58 PM Hampton Twp. Police were dispatched to 2967 Harts Run Road for a fraud report. The caller stated that she received a voice message on her phone from the IRS stating that a warrant was issued for her arrest due to back taxes being owed. The caller left a phone number for her to call and take care of the issue, but she did not return any calls at time of report. The caller was advised that we are aware of this current scam, and for her to check all bank accounts and credit cards for any type of fraudulent use.
