On April 29, 2015 at 5:29 PM Hampton Twp Police took a fraud report from a resident. The caller reported that when she attempted to file her taxes on April 15th of this year, she received a message from the IRS that her taxes were already filed. She was advised to contact the IRS. Upon contacting them, she discovered that someone had stolen her identity and filed an tax return. The IRS advised her to manually file an income tax return and file a report with her local Police Department where she lives.
