On August 26, a resident called to report a suspicious incident that occurred the day before. A male showed up at her door and displayed an identification badge for the United States Census Bureau. The male was asking questions regarding crimes that she may have been a victim of and stated that she was randomly selected. Police called the Census Bureau in Philadelphia and verified that the resident was randomly selected and that the worker was conducting a National Crime Victimization Survey.
