On September 8, at 6:03 PM, Police were dispatched to the 4500 block of Route 8 for an accident. One vehicle was attempting to pull left out of Aldi's parking lot and cross over the northbound travel lanes to proceed south on Route 8. Traffic was stopped in the northbound curb lane, however as the vehicle pulled out of Aldi's, it was struck by another vehicle travelling northbound in the passing lane. There were no injuries, but one of the vehicles needed to be towed.
