On September 12, at 7:50 AM, Police responded to Poff Elementary School for a property damage report. The driver of a flatbed trailer was unsure of where to make the turn into the PA Turnpike supply yard. As he was turning the trailer around, he ran over the mailbox and post at 3100 Haberlein Road and also damaged part of the lawn and concrete pylons at Poff Elementary School.
