On July 9, 2016 at 6:53 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to Middle Road for a single vehicle accident, involving a telephone pole. The operator was unable to recall how the vehicle ended up going off of the roadway and striking a street sign and a telephone pole. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest for DUI.
