On August 23, 2016 at 3:22 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Route 8, at Old Route 8, for a two vehicle accident. The accident occurred when a vehicle attempted to enter Route 8 from a business and collided with an oncoming vehicle. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
