On September 10, 2016 at 9:11 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to a residence on McNeal Road after receiving a request from a concerned citizen to check on a recreational fire. The fire in question was not in compliance with the township's burning ordinance, as it was not contained. The individual was advised to put the fire out.
