On December 21, 2016 at 8:00 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to Route 8 for a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle in question was located in the McDonald's parking lot. Upon approaching the vehicle, the responding officers smelled the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. The operator was found to be in possession of drugs and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
