On January 1, 2017 at 8:00 p.m., Hampton Township officers were advised by dispatch to be on the lookout for a vehicle that was reported to be driving erratically on Route 8. A Hampton Township officer was able to locate the car in question, and observed multiple traffic violations prior to initiating a traffic stop on Route 8. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
