On January 4, 2017 at 11:56 a.m., Hampton Township officers responded to West Hardies Road, at Richland Road, for a vehicle over an embankment. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the operator, who was not injured. The operator stated that they were attempting to make the turn onto Richland Road, when they lost control of their vehicle and went through a guide rail and over the embankment. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
